Personalised Survival Analysis in Alzheimer's Disease Lead Investigator: Charley Budgeon Institution : University of Western Australia E-Mail : charley.budgeon@uwa.edu.au Proposal ID : 550 Proposal Description: My major aims are: 1. To develop a survival analysis framework for Alzheimer's disease. 2. To develop disease severity measures for monitoring disease progression and assessing the efficacy of clinical trials and therapeutic interventions. 3. To inform personalized medication and care plans by providing risk, time to event, functional benefit and cost benefit predictions. 4. To determine optimum use of personnel, facilities and funds at the facility (residential care home) and population level. We will combine numerous informatics techniques to provide knowledge of enormous epidemiological potential. Once the mathematical framework has been developed it will have application widely throughout the Alzheimer's research and care community, but it will also lend itself, with modification, to help understand many other diseases.
